How to convert MP3 to WAV

1. Download nxtconvertIt’s free for macOS, Windows and Linux. Install it like any other app.
2. Add your MP3 filesDrag them onto the window, or click Browse files. You can add as many as you like.
3. Choose WAVPick WAV in the format menu next to each file, or use “Set all to” for the whole batch.

MP3 and WAV

MP3 is the most compatible audio format there is. Every device and car stereo plays it.

WAV is uncompressed audio. It is ideal for editing, but a few minutes can take tens of megabytes.

In Settings you can pick the bitrate, from 128 to 320 kbit/s, and whether to keep tags such as artist and album.
