How to convert AVI to MP4

  1. Download nxtconvertIt’s free for macOS, Windows and Linux. Install it like any other app.
  2. Add your AVI filesDrag them onto the window, or click Browse files. You can add as many as you like.
  3. Choose MP4Pick MP4 in the format menu next to each file, or use “Set all to” for the whole batch.
  4. ConvertPress Convert. Your MP4 files appear in Downloads/nxtconvert, and the originals stay untouched.

AVI and MP4

AVI is an older Windows video format, still needed by some legacy players and hardware.
